Recalls on Your Honda or Acura Vehicle

 

Honda of North America and Acura of North America periodically recall certain vehicles due to safety concerns. The repairs for these recalled vehicles are performed for free at new car dealerships.

 

Since we are an independently owned repair shop and not an actual dealership, Honda of North America and Acura of North America will not reimburse us for any recall repairs. You can get them performed, at no charge to you, at the Honda or Acura new car dealership. If you would prefer to not go to a new car dealer, we can perform recall repairs at our facility, but it would be at a cost to you (not free).

If your vehicle does have an open recall and you choose to take it to a dealership, please be aware that you can only take your Honda vehicle to the Honda new car dealership and your Acura vehicle to the Acura new car dealership.

Airbag Recalls:

Many of the Honda and Acura vehicles have been recalled due to having faulty Takata airbag inflators. If the inflator housing ruptures in a crash, metal shards from the airbag can be sprayed throughout the passenger cabin. There have been people that have lost their lives due to these faulty airbag inflators. This is an extremely important recall to have repaired and should be done so immediately.
